Staff Messaging

 

Summary

The staff messaging utility is used to send text-based notifications to hotel staff. Messages can be sent individually or en masse to an entire group through the message manager, and if your hotel uses Chorum, can even send a push notification to each user’s mobile device (provided they are logged in to the app). Be aware that before staff messaging can be used, your hotel must have set up and configured your distribution groups. Additionally, please note that to send messages via the Staff Messaging portal you must have the Send Message permission enabled for your clerk login. If you do not have this permission and believe you should, please reach out to your hotel’s manager or administrator for assistance.
